SEAOHUN's big step forward: Joining the Global Health Security Agenda

SEAOHUN is honored to join the Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) as a member with over 70 countries, international organizations and non-government organizations, and private sector companies to make our world safe and secure from global health threats. Our expression of interest to join the GHSA was accepted in late October 2021.
SEAOHUN and our country networks express our commitment to strengthen One Health workforce capacity and build the next generation of One Health professionals with the right skillset and mindset to prevent, detect, and respond to infectious disease threats. We will contribute to three GHSA action packages: Workforce Development, National Laboratory Systems, and Zoonotic Disease.
SEAOHUN is a leading regional network of 92 universities in eight Southeast Asian countries collaborating to develop a resilient and competent One Health workforce by leveraging education, research, and training excellence.
