SEAOHUN Showcase at DDC-OIC, MoPH Thailand Meeting
On 31 May 2023 at Rama Garden Hotel, the Office of the International Cooperation (OIC), Department of Disease Control (DDC), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) convened a meeting and workshop to convey the International Cooperation Action Plan Phase 2 (2023 - 2027) for the Prevention and Control of Diseases and Health Hazards Phase 2 (2023 – 2027). It was also the opportunity for recognition and giving awards to 26 agencies supporting the mission of DDC by carrying out activities related to the plan, providing assistance and working directly with foreign populations/migrants in Thailand. The meeting was graciously opened by the Director General of DDC, Dr Tares Krasanairaviwong, and in attendances were more than 200 people consisting of executives, representatives, advisors and experts from intergovernmental organisations, governmental agencies from various Ministries from both the central and sub-national level and non-governmental organisations.
SEAOHUN was invited as one of the key agencies with long engagement and partnership with OIC, to set up an exhibition booth showcasing the works that have positively impacted international cooperation especially in the context of One Health. The SEAOHUN booth was set up between two partners, THOHUN and USAID. The exhibiting booth was gathered a positive attention with many attendees who visited SEAOHUN booth.
