Biorisk Management Curriculum Development in Vietnam

Updated: Feb 11, 2021

Using a combination of facilitated discussions and comprehensive evaluation methods, this workshop focused on two activities:

1. On pilot testing the new Biorisk Management curricula that Vietnam One Health University Network (VOHUN): Nong Lam University - HCMC (NLU), Hanoi University of Public Health (HUPH) and Hanoi National University (VNU) have developed, to identify which sections of the new curriculum work and which ones need strengthening. The evaluation of the pilot session of the curriculum will include written evaluations with scoring and verbal feedback from three key groups to assess the teaching sessions from different perspectives: the participants (graduate students), the facilitators (university professors) and the observers (SNL, DTRA)

2. One-day Biorisk Awareness Raising for University Deans from VOHUN network who are responsible for providing primary guidance and leadership to divisional departments concerning curriculum development, program evaluation and compliance with educational requirements
