Assoc. Prof. Saengduen Moonsom, SFHEA, Coordinator of THOHUN, Mahidol University

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saengduen Moonsom is currently a teaching staff of Faculty of Tropical Medicine Mahidol University. She is also the Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA; PR292006) and TQF and MU-PSF level 3 and licensed Medical Technologist.

She serves as Coordinator of Thailand One Health University Network (THOHUN) and THOHUN National Coordinating Office. She was a member of One Health working group and Deputy Chair of national strategic committee on preparedness, prevention and solving of Emerging Infectious Diseases (2017 - 2021) in academic institutions. Dr. Saengduen holds B.Sc. in Medical Technology from Chiang Mai University and M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering from Institute of Molecular Biosciences, Mahidol University.

She was postdoctoral fellow of Biomedical Center of BIOTEC at Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University and School of Crop Production Technology, Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand. Her researches focus on diagnostic development for food water borne tropical diseases, One Health education and implementation.
