Five Free One Health Courses Now Available on SEAOHWA

SEAOHUN is pleased to announce that five One Health online courses are now available — free of charge — on the Southeast Asia One Health Workforce Academies (SEA-OHWA) platform.

These courses were originally developed under the USAID-funded One Health Workforce – Next Generation (OHW-NG) project by the One Health Institute at the University of California, Davis. The continued operation and accessibility of SEA-OHWA is supported by Chevron. Through a collaboration between SEAOHUN and the One Health Institute, these resources are now accessible to learners across Southeast Asia.

All courses are self-paced, available in English, and completely free. Learners are encouraged to enroll and complete their courses by June 2026. Upon successful completion, learners may have the opportunity to apply for the SEAOHUN One Health Certificate Program in the future.

Available courses:

•         Fundamentals of One Health

•         Antimicrobial Resistance in One Health: Introductory Level

•         Antimicrobial Resistance in One Health: Advanced Level

•         Risk Communication and Community Engagement

•         Outbreak Investigation and Response

All courses are self-paced, available in English, and completely free. Learners are encouraged to enroll and complete their courses by June 2026.

What you will gain:

These courses cover critical competencies including disease outbreak investigation, AMR surveillance, risk communication, and integrated One Health practice — taught by a diverse faculty of physicians, veterinarians, public health professionals, and environmental scientists from around the world.

Upon successful completion, learners may have the opportunity to apply for the SEAOHUN One Health Certificate Program in the future.
