The Thailand One Health University Network (THOHUN) joined in the “Global One Health Day 2018” celebrations on November 3, 2018, organized by the Coordinating Unit for One Health, a nationally focused network dedicated to promoting improved health of people, livestock animals, wildlife, and environment. The One Health Day celebration was held at Siam Square One in Bangkok, Thailand, where people from all walks of life were able to interact with each other and access information that promotes One Health.
THOHUN, along with other national organizations in Thailand, created the Coordinating Unit for One Health as a nationally focused network dedicated to promoting improved health of people, livestock animals, wildlife, and environment.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Parntep Ratanakorn, THOHUN Chairman and Asst. Prof. Dr. Seangduen Moonsom, THOHUN National Coordinating Office Coordinator spoke about One Health during presentations at the event.
This type of public outreach event helps the network spread the word about the importance of human, animal, and environment connection in a fun and educational celebration.
