One Health Lessons: Lesson Leaders Program

Updated: Feb 11, 2021

This program is open to anyone who is 18+ in any degree program or field. If you are under 18, please reach out to lessonleadersprogram@gmail.com for more information about how to bring the One Health message to your community.

One Health is the connection between public health, the environment, plants and animals. The One Health approach is teamwork between specialists who care for people, the environment, plants and animals to improve the health of the world.

One Health Lessons, founded by Deborah Thomson, DVM, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to get every child on the planet to understand and care about One Health. The Lesson Leaders Program works with primary/secondary school children to help them understand the much-needed connection between the health of people, animals, and the environment.
