With support of KOICA through USAID and its One Health Workforce project, Cambodia One Health University Network (CAMBOHUN) in collaboration with Southeast Asia One Health University Network (SEAOHUN) organized its first activity on 20th September 2019 at Prek Leap National College of Agriculture aiming to raise students’ awareness of rabies and to give them opportunity to conduct outreach education on rabies. 65 participants include student, faculty members and representatives from KOICA, relevant government institutions participated in the event. In classroom session, students not only learnt about general information about rabies and its prevention but also learnt how to conduct education in the community. Following in-class session, multidisciplinary students went to the community and worked collaboratively to raise the community awareness about rabies and how to prevent it through small group discussion followed by rabies educational material distribution.
