SEAOHUN WEBINAR: Catalyzing One Health Innovation: SEAOHUN Small Grants Program

The SEAOHUN Small Grants Program aims to support in-service One Health professionals and faculty members in the development of innovative research and training that can have high impact. It is expected that Small Grants will catalyze innovative operations research, curriculum development, and training implementation. This program provides critical support for member countries’ activities to advance One Health agendas, increasing SEAOHUN’s and OHUNs’ visibility and the visibility of the USAID One Health Workforce – Next Generation (OHW-NG) project. In addition, it strives to foster multisectoral collaboration, as well as cooperation across government agencies, member Universities and member countries. The proposals can touch upon the broad spectrum of ideas related to the One Health approach, enabling better response to the increasingly complex dilemmas at the convergence of animals, humans, plants, and the environment.

In 2021, the SEAOHUN Small Grant Program is implemented with the support from USAID through the OHW-NG project, in partnership with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Regional office for Asia and the Pacific, ASEAN +3 Field Epidemiology Training Network (FETN) and the Regional Field Epidemiology Training Program for Veterinarians (R-FETPV).
