Sharpening the Focus on Facilitation Skills - Training of Trainer

Updated: Jan 24, 2022

In a rapidly changing world, continuous and lifelong learning becomes a key element for progress and advancement in all areas of life. Training and development are core instruments in the development sector and have faced many challenges due to the impact of COVID-19. As a result, designing meaningful, engaging, and effective learning experiences for long-lasting learning, especially in virtual space, has become an important part of creating social impact.

SEAOHUN in partnership with Chevron conducted a Training of Trainers course for members and partners December 2nd- 17th, 2021. This training was focused on sharpening the participants abilities to facilitate and lead others in developing their facilitating skills. This hands-on workshop was produced with the practitioner in mind, including case studies and opportunities to apply the newly learned skills. As evidenced by positive feedback, attendees were appreciative of this ever-relevant training in the increasingly online world.

Thoughts from one of the attendees who joined Impact Hub Almaty Training of Trainer on the Basic Facilitation Skills supported by Chevron under the "Strengthening One Health Education in Southeast Asia" initiative.
