Launching Applying One Health to Solve Community Health Issues Project

Tropical Disease Research Center (TDRC) has implemented a proven, integrative Eco Health/One Health approach with active community engagement to control human liver flukes for the past decade in the Lawa Lake area of Thailand. The project aims to develop online training modules on integrative disease controls using the One Health approach with active community engagement to solve communities’ health issues, and make the Lawa educational field site accessible for future generations. After the training, these health professionals will be able to apply the integrative One Health approach to solve complex health issues in their communities.

Tropical Disease Research Center (TDRC) of Khon Kaen University, in partnership with Southeast Asia One Health University Network (SEAOHUN), launched a project, “Applying One Health to Solve Community Health Issues”, funded by Chevron Strengthening One Health Education in Southeast Asia on 12 November 2021 in Khon Kaen province, Thailand.
